What this site collects, and what it does not.

Who we are
sapientesgroup.com is operated by Sapientes Group Inc., a consulting firm in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Questions about this notice or about your information go to info@sapientesgroup.com.
No accounts, no cookies, no tracking
The site has no user accounts, sets no cookies, and runs no analytics or advertising. We do not keep access logs of
page views. If you use the light/dark toggle, your choice is stored in your own browser (a localStorage
entry named sg-theme) and is never sent to us.
The inquiry form
The only personal information this site collects is what you type into the inquiry form: your name, your email address, your company (optional), an area of interest, and your message. The language of the page and the time of receipt are added. Your IP address is not included.
The form is handled by Amazon Web Services in its Calgary region and delivered as an email to our
info@ mailbox, which is hosted by Proton in Switzerland. We use it only to respond to you and keep it as
business correspondence for as long as the conversation is useful. Write to us to have it corrected or deleted.
Abuse protection
To stop automated abuse of the form, the service counts submissions per connection for up to two hours. The counter is keyed by a one-way hash of your IP address; the address itself is not stored and cannot be recovered from the hash. Submissions that are rejected before sending, and attempts caught by the hidden anti-spam field, are not counted.
Technical records
For each form request the service records an outcome (accepted, rejected, rate-limited, failed), a request identifier, the page language and the processing time, kept for 90 days. These records contain no name, email address, message or IP address. They exist so we can tell whether the form works.
Where data is processed
Form submissions are processed in Canada (Amazon Web Services, Calgary). The public pages themselves are delivered through Amazon CloudFront's worldwide edge network, which caches only the pages, not your information. The mailbox that receives inquiries is hosted in Switzerland.
Your rights
You may ask what information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Write to info@sapientesgroup.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
Changes
When this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. It describes what the site does today.
